Top 3 Rules for Writing Effective Copy
One thing all successful Internet marketers have in common is
that they’re good copywriters. If you want to have a profitable
online business, you need to know how to write a copy that
motivates people to buy your product… a copy that sells!
In this article, I’m going to reveal 3 important rules that you
should follow to write persuasive copy. Put these tips into
practice, and watch your sales start climbing almost immediately!
#1. Believe In Your Product
It doesn’t matter how many books you’ve read about
copywriting… your copy won’t sell if you don’t believe in your
product. It’s very important to believe your product will help
your customers solve their problems and give them what they
want.
You should believe that it’s worth much more than they pay for
it. What you think about your product and how much you believe
in it is very important — as much as the success of your copy
depends on it.
Let me give you an example…
Let’s say you want to sell an ebook titled How to Become a
Professional Writer in 90 Days. You’ve never read this ebook and
You don’t know if it’s good and worth the price. It’s just an
affiliate product that you’ve decided to sell to make money.
You create a website and write a sales letter to motivate people
to buy it. You implement all the tips and tricks you’ve heard
about copywriting: a killer headline, short paragraphs, etc. Now
you expect to make a lot of money. You wait and wait. But what
happens is… nothing!
Do you know why?
Yes, because you didn’t believe in the product you wanted to
sell. You didn’t believe in what you said in your sales letter
because you hadn’t read the ebook yourself and had no idea how
it was.
If you don’t completely believe in your product, the reader will
know this through every word of your copy. He understands that
something is wrong and it makes him hesitant to buy from you.
After all, if you don’t believe in your own product, then how
are you going to make them believe?
#2. “What’s In It For Me?”
“So what?”
“What’s in it for me?”
These are the questions people keep asking while reading your
copy. All of us look for benefits in everything we do, so do
your customers. They want to know how your product will solve
their problems. Basically, they want to know “what’s in it for
them”.
… And you should certainly answer this extremely important
question.
Explain what problems they have right now and convince them that
they should do something about them. Create a sense of urgency
to solve the problems. Then give them the solution: your product!
Tell them how your product will save their valuable time and
money, bring them more happiness, money, health and so on. Make
them imagine how wonderful their life will be with your product.
Make them excited, very excited!
I give you an example…
Let’s say that you want to write a copy for a very effective
sleeping pill. First, you need to find the problems of your
target market. What problems do people have who can’t get a
good, restful sleep?
Well, they usually lose their temper a lot and can affect their
relationships. They’re nervous and can’t concentrate on work,
which in turn can make their boss angry. They’re always tired
and don’t feel like doing anything, among other serious problems.
Now explain each problem the way they can see it, hear it, taste
it and feel it! Make them wish deeply that they could get rid of
the problem.
Are you here with me? Now it’s time to give them the solution:
your sleeping pill!
Explain how it will help them fall asleep without waiting for
hours. With your pill, every morning they wake up smiling
because of a restful night. Finally, they will be rid of the
terrible headache they always had. They will no longer be tired
at work and can finally get a raise.
Are you getting the picture?
Tell them what’s in it for them and your copy will sell like
crazy! Now it’s time for the last rule…
#3. Write to One Person
Amateur copywriters think because many people read their copy,
they should write to the public. No! Even if all the people in
the world were to read your copy, each of them would read it
individually. So each of the readers should feel you’re talking
to him and only him. This makes your copy have a much higher
impact.
Your copy should be friendly as well. Write as if you were
addressing your best friend. Don’t start with “Hey, everybody”.
You don’t use that in a personal letter, do you? Say something
like “Dear Friend” and your copy will be friendly and effective.
After all, you’re calling him your friend.
Final Notes
Copywriting is an essential part of your marketing strategy. If
you have a great product but don’t know how to write effective
copy, you won’t make any sales because you can’t motivate people
to make a purchase.
To become a professional copywriter you need to practice a lot.
The more you write, the more you learn. If it takes you a long
time to write your first copy, don’t worry. After all, it’s your
first time. No one’s born a copywriter. If you see that
someone’s copy sells like crazy, he sure has practiced very much.
Some people give up at first, when they see they can’t write as
well as a professional copywriter. If you’ve just started, you
shouldn’t compare yourself with experts. Instead, learn from
their experience and don’t make the same mistakes they once
made. It will save you a lot of time!
And don’t forget that you should never sell a product that you
don’t believe in. Even if you make some sales, you’re making
money by lying to your customers and betraying their trust…
and it’s not fair at all! They’ve worked hard to earn every
dollar and now you’re taking their money for something you
wouldn’t ever buy yourself.

Financial Planning for Beginners
Financial planning at an early age may seem complicated, however it can be easier than you might think. At the age of 25 most of us are just beginning our married life, and there are homes and automobiles to buy and children to plan for. This leaves little time to plan for the future. These are some simple steps that you can take to ensure that you and your family will be able to handle unexpected emergencies and expenses.
* Buy Insurance
Insurance is one of the easiest ways that you can be sure that your family is protected financially in the event of an accident. Medical bills alone from one accident can cause a family to be in a state of financial distress for years. Although medical and automobile insurance rates are high, the return is much greater. Life insurance is also a very key factor in planning for your financial stability. In the event that a family member dies, you could be in debt for as much as $50,000 for funeral expenses. Insurance may seem like a useless expense when a family is deciding on a budget, however, the budget will be completely diminished in the event of an accident without insurance. Remember, the key word in the phrase “financial planning” is planning.
* Repay High Interest Loans
Some debt that is incurred has a higher interest rate than others depending on the type of loan and the time at which the money was borrowed. Many times car loans and student loans have the highest interest rates, while other debts like medical bills may have little or no interest accumulating. Although it might seem like a good idea to pay off bills that have a lower total balance to eliminate that payment, this is not always the best option. In the long run it is more beneficial to pay off the debts that have the highest interest rates first.
* Create an Emergency Money Account
Try and work out a plan so that your family will have a little extra money in case of emergencies. Even putting a minimal amount of money back from each paycheck makes a lot of difference. The key is to be consistent, decide on an amount a stick with it. Another option is to save unexpected income, such as gifts or tax returns, for emergencies. It is estimated that one should save at least 15% of their annual earnings in a savings plan; this amount will vary according to your particular situation.

Better Baking Technique: Is it Done Yet?
Are my breads, cookies, or cakes baked and ready to come out of the oven yet?
The ability to tell when products are baked seems to cause more consternation than almost any other phase of baking. And of course, it is important. Over baked cookies are dry and hard; under baked bread is soggy. But you can get it right. In this article, we will give you the techniques and pointers for baking your goods to perfection.
Yeast breads
The tendency is to under bake yeast breads. The internal temperature of yeast breads should be 210 degrees and must be at least 185 degrees. The only way to reliably tell what is going on inside that loaf is with a probe type thermometer. Remove the bread from the pan and insert the thermometer through the bottom crust into the center of the loaf.
(If you are going to bake bread and you don’t have a thermometer, we strongly recommend that you purchase one. You will need it to test the temperature of the water, the dough, and the finished bread. You can buy one on our site.)
When the bread is done, the crust color will range from a golden brown to a deep brown for artisan breads baked in a hot oven. Breads with a higher sugar content or in a hot oven will tend to brown more rapidly as the sugar caramelizes. If the bread is browning too rapidly, make a tent of aluminum foil and cover the top of the loaf.
In light colored pans, the bottom crust is the last to brown. With a done loaf, the bottom will color even in a light-colored pan.
My mother was a bread baker. She tested doneness by tapping the loaf with her finger–a done loaf will sound hollow when tapped. I don’t remember her ever making a mistake. Though she taught me to do the same, I’m not as good as she was. Out of habit, I still tap the loaf but I nearly always follow with a thermometer probe and sometimes the thermometer proves me wrong.
Cookies
If the tendency is to under bake breads, the tendency is to over bake cookies. Take them out just before you think they are done; you won’t be wrong often.
My father is a consummate cookie baker. If you ask him what his secret is, he’ll tell you: “I don’t over bake cookies.” The difference between a just right cookie and an over baked one is dramatic.
Make cookies uniform in size. Not only are they more attractive but different sizes of cookies take different times to bake.
Most recipe writers tell you to leave the cookies on the sheet for a minute or two. Cookies continue to bake on a hot baking sheet. Sometimes that’s necessary for an easy release but for most recipes, we remove them as quickly as we can.
If the cookies look a little soggy in the middle, then leave them on the sheet for a few minutes and they will firm up.
Most cookies should be gold in color, not brown. Both the amount of sugar and soda in the recipe will affect how fast a cookie browns.
Chocolate cookies represent another challenge: you can’t tell if they are browning. If you are baking with a new recipe, bake a few cookies and check them for doneness before baking the entire batch. Chocolate cookies will tend to lose their “wet” look when done.
Many bar cookies will have a dry, shiny crust when done.
Cakes
For most baked goods–but especially cakes–it is best to set the timer for a few minutes less than directed in the recipedifferent ovens or even different positions in the oven bake differently. A dark pan bakes more quickly than a light pan. When you find your cake not quite done and continue baking, set the timer for three or four minutes and check again.
A toothpick inserted in the center of the cake will come out clean when done. “Clean” means a few crumbs. If there is wet looking batter clinging to the toothpick, it’s not done.
If you don’t want to poke a whole in the center of the cake, check for doneness with your finger. There should be some resiliency to the touch and the cake should spring back. When done, the cake will usually have a golden brown color to the top though different recipes will brown more or less quickly. When done, the cake will tend to pull away form the edges.
Quick Breads
Quick breads are basically cakes in a loaf pan. The same tests that you use on cakes can be used with quick breads. Stick the toothpick or skewer right in the open crack in the center of the bread. The area under that crack seems to be the last area in the loaf to set up.
Incidentally, quick breads release from the pan easier if left to cool for few minutes before removing. Because of the larger mass, a loaf does not continue cooking as quickly as cookies do.
Custard Pies
Custard piesincluding pumpkin piesare a special problem. It takes quite a while for the protein in the eggs to set and make the pie firm. Often, the crust is becoming too brown before the eggs set. If so, cover the crust with strips of aluminum foil to retard further browning.
When a custard pie is done, a knife inserted in the center of the pie will come out clean. If you don’t want a cut mark in the center of your pie, use the jiggle test. Pick the pie up with two hot pads or mitts and gently shake the pie back and forth. If done, all but the center should be firmthere will be a little jiggle in the center. The center will continue to cook and firm up after you remove the pie from the oven.
We hope these guidelines help. With practice and observation, you’ll soon become very proficient at judging when your bread or cookies are baked to perfection. Your baked goods will then be irresistible.

Your Own Products Can Make You Rich
Although there are advantages to selling other
people`s products and services, there are also
drawbacks. For example, the lack of exclusive
rights to your own proprietary product can mean
that you are just one of thousands selling the
same thing. Excessive competition can cause
you to drop your prices and to lose sales, thus
affecting your profits and cashflow that are so
essential to your business survival.
For this reason, you may decide to develop your
own proprietary products and services, either
exclusively, or to complement your line of other
people`s products.
After creating your own proprietary product, you
could spend millions in manufacturing and marketing
costs. You could go bankrupt before you even had
your first sale.
Here, then, are just a few, low-cost ways to profit
from selling your own proprietary products and
services.
1. Licensing
Instead of trying to finance the manufacturing and
marketing of your invention, why not license it to
a company with the expertise and capability required?
You will then receive royalties in return for your
idea.
To learn more about licensing, visit
http://yenommarketinginc.com/licensing.html
2. Exporting
Exporting your product to other countries can
dramatically increase your sales. Hiring an Export
Management Agent can keep your fixed costs down.

3. Offer Commissions and Finders` Fees
Recruit independent sales representatives and agents.
Offer commissions and finders` fees in order to sell
your products and services.
To learn more about finders` fees, visit
http://www.yenommarketinginc.com/finder.html
4. Online Auctions
You can also sell your own proprietary products
through Internet auction sites such as eBay or
Yahoo! Auctions.
To learn more about online auctions, visit
http://www.yenommarketinginc.com/auctions.html
5. Start Your Own Associate or Affiliate Program
Multiple web sites and distributors selling your
product can result in increased sales and profits.
Unlike conventional advertising, affiliate programs
pay only for performance. Commissions are not paid
out unless sales are made.
To learn more about affiliate programs, visit
http://www.yenommarketinginc.com/affiliate.html
6. Participate in Joint Ventures
Joint venture arrangements can be profitable. As an
example, you could offer a commission on the
successful sale of your product featured in someone
else`s e-zine or newsletter.
To learn more about joint ventures, visit
http://www.yenommarketinginc.com/joint-ventures.html
The above list of low-cost ways to make a profit from
your own proprietary products and services is by no
means exhaustive. However, it certainly illustrates
that, with some effort, your own products could make
you rich.

Greater Than Any Storm
If you have ever known someone that would ask forgiveness
(sometimes, even before the church), then turn around and do the
same thing again, you are not alone.
Though, that is not anything new to God. We do the same thing
to Him, all the time, “I am sorry for my sin, please forgive me,
and I will try to do better.” And, maybe we do try, really try.
Only, we fail, again.
We want to be a better person. However, when ‘we’ try to do the
improving, it is a form of works ~ as if we could actually
become good enough. None-the-less, as long as there is some
secret part in us that wants the temptation, it will come back
again and again.
Once we see the sin for the ugliness that it is (realizing sin
is what put Jesus on the cross) and we no longer want to
dishonor God with temptation even in our thoughts, all we have
to do is to ask God to remove it. God always answers the true
desires of our heart. We no longer need beg to be made good
enough and giving it to God makes Him the Divine Keeper. Satan
is no longer aloud to tempt us, in that way, ever again!
It is not hard to walk a pure life once we have made our heart
pure. But otherwise, we are destined to fail. Though, how we let
another’s sin affect us is a different matter.
—————–
Throughout the state of KY, people are not prepared for harsh
winter weather, as it happens too seldom for them to see the
reason in financing labor and equipment. So, being that one
cannot get up or down even the smallest icy hills, as truckers
well know, the state is pretty much at a stand still until snow
and ice melts; the good part being that winter thaws much
quicker than it does farther north.
For three years, my family and I lived in KY ~ where I worked
retail. If snow clouds even appeared, employees would
periodically go stand at the door (all day long), where they
could check to see if anything had changed in the weather. And,
at the first snow flake, employees verbally expressed worrying
about the weather throughout the remaining of the entire work
day. To those accustomed to more northern exposure, it was as if
these people had never seen snow before. And for all purposes,
it seemed so, as they had no clue how to drive in it.
Observing them caused me to realize how truly foolish it is to
let the weather effect our day. If it so much as rains, people
are depressed. Yet, how else will the grass, flowers, and trees
get water? Otherwise, there would be no beauty for us to enjoy
and the beautiful KY mountain sides would turn into mud slides
at winter’s thaw.
So, when it rains, I tell Satan he doesn’t have a right to ruin
my day. Instead of focusing on gloom, I thank God for watering
the flowers. When temperatures are frigid, I can be thankful for
the bugs we will not have to contend with come spring. And, when
really bad storms come, I still thank God for watering
everything that needs it, but ask Him to not terrorize us with
the weather. Wind calms, tornadoes vanish, lightening is
suddenly miles away, hail does not dent my car, white-outs pass,
power is restored, and children arrive home safely! I thank God
that the weather does not have the right to ruin my day!
—————–
No more than Satan has the right to ruin our day using the
weather; the same strength can bud amidst dissention. Many turn
grouchy, difficult, childish, fearful, foul mouthed, etc., as
they get older and some are just miserably unhappy at any age.
While it is impossible to control other people’s behavior for
any length of time, we also cannot change them. All we have the
power to do is to change ourselves. We can start by refusing to
stoop to their level, to not allow backbiting to come out of our
mouth.
With practice, it gets easier. Our outlook will gradually
change wherein we may stand there, thinking, “Are you done,
yet?” A little further down the road, we might think, “Don’t you
think God can hear you?” After a point, their behavior is seen
for the tantrum it is. Nope, Satan does not have the right to
ruin our day with such childish gestures. And, eventually, we
might barely notice their bad behavior at all. Denial? Maybe.
But, what does their bad example have to do with us? Except we
did something to provoke, it is not our problem ~ just theirs.
Sure, we care that others get right with God. But, as long as
our motive, in prayer, is for what we will get out of it, we
will be back to begging. The bottom line is, when we look to
people for our happiness, they will fail us. If we look to
people for our self-worth, Satan is sure to send a lie. And
though we want to feel loved, there is only one source of
absolute perfection. When in need of peace, no matter the
circumstance, we have a God that is greater than any storm.

Finding a Reputable Laser Hair Removal Facility in New York
Having a lot of body hair can be embarrassing, and it can be painful and tedious to remove and maintain yourself. A popular new trend in hair removal is laser hair removal. Many people looking for a permanent or long-term way to remove unwanted body hair look to this procedure for relief. This increasingly common procedure removes the hair relatively quickly with a handheld device that releases beams of light into your hair follicles. The procedure eliminates hair for a much longer period of time than the routine techniques of hair removal, such as by shaving or waxing. Practitioners promise that your hair is removed quickly from the root with little discomfort, and you can expect that your hair will grow back at a much slower rate than with waxing. If you are looking into the procedure for yourself in a larger city such as New York, it is vital that you know all educate yourself on all aspects of laser hair removal, from knowing the basic principles behind it to knowing how to sift through the volumes of laser hair removal centers in the phone book, and especially what it will cost you to get this treatment.
There are many positive aspects of laser hair removal. The primary reason people seek out the procedure is for the relief and convenience of having unwelcome body hair removed for a long period of time. Although this treatment has not been proven to permanently remove body hair, there is often a permanent reduction in appearance of your hair, which can alleviate stress and embarrassment. When the hair does grow back, it is often a lighter color and a finer texture, which may prove to be more manageable, and might not warrant repeat procedures. As long as it is performed cautiously and by someone with experience, laser hair removal is generally considered safe. Laser hair removal is the best solution for those who have a large area on the body that they wish to treat, such as the back, chest, or legs that is too hard to maintain by shaving. Laser hair removal might be preferable in a case such as this because of the longer-lasting effects. Patients with fairer complexions that have darker body hair usually get the best results seen with laser hair removal.
Just as there are several positive aspects to laser hair removal, there are also some potential concerns raised with the procedure. Because the procedure goes largely unregulated, there is no medical evidence that laser hair removal is completely safe or effective. Further, it is difficult to establish a set gauge of hair regrowth rates, because every body is completely different. The process does not work as effectively on gray, red, or blonde hair, and people with darker skin tones or on people who tan themselves need to take heed, as there is a risk of burns, abrasions, or skin discoloration as a result of the procedure. Since it can take several sessions to get the desired effect, the cost of laser hair removal can be quite expensive. And because some people do not react to the process in any way, it can prove to be a waste of time and money.
As is common with most types of cosmetic surgeries or procedures, the cost of laser hair removal differs according to the region in which you live, and by the practitioners that perform the procedures. If it is a clinic that only performs laser hair removal, the cost might be slightly higher than if laser hair removal is performed by a plastic surgeon or clinic that specializes in more than one type of cosmetic procedure. In cities such as New York, where the cost of living is significantly higher than in other parts of the country, laser hair removal might be radically more expensive than in a region such as the Midwest. There are also a few other variables to think about that might affect the cost of your laser hair removal. If you will need multiple treatments, if you have a large area on your body that you want treated, or if you have thicker body hair, laser hair removal might be more expensive. When researching practitioners, look for special offers such as referral discounts, and check to see if any offer financing.
When looking for a practitioner to perform you laser hair removal in a city like New York, not only do you need to consider the increased cost, but you also need to bear in mind the reputation of the clinic you choose. You want someone trustworthy, and well thought-of. Make sure to schedule several in-office consultations with the practitioners that would perform the procedure on you, and try to get a patch test done. Check for clean facilities, and don’t commit to the procedure until you have spoken to former patients that have had the procedure done. It is important to know the risks of a procedure like laser hair removal, both physically and financially. It is important to know that it probably isn’t an everlasting solution to your unwanted body hair, and that the cost of laser hair removal in a large city like New York can be very high depending on your situation and the practitioner you choose.

Today there are many options available to an expert in need of a new web site. This article will explore the use of a web site “template.”
Basically, a template is a pre-designed set of one or more web pages complete with graphics, menu buttons, attractive color schemes and text areas to describe your expert witness practice. You can choose from a number of suppliers, including TemplateMonster, Templates Resource, Perfectory, Templates.net, or Boxed Art. (Please note that these are not product endorsements.)
Pros and cons on web site templates
Pro # 1: Purchase prices are affordable, generally in the range of $40 to $250 for a one-time payment.
Pro # 2: Templates are a fast way to create and launch a new web site.
Con # 1: Your web site is not unique. You may see the same web site design in use by other experts, even competing experts. You may be able to make a “unique purchase” for a higher fee, meaning that the provider will not sell the same design to anyone else. You still compete, however, with others who purchased the same design before you did.
Con # 2: You need some basic technical skills to set up the web site template. Also, customization might be difficult. If you are not technically inclined with basic HTML skills, chances are good that you will need an agreeable webmaster or designer.
Only you can decide if a web site template is the right approach for you. While you are planning a new web site, here are 5 quick tips to maximize expert witness litigation support leads from Internet marketing.
5 tips for expert witness website marketing success
1. Minimize or avoid the use of “flash.” What is flash, you ask? It is a popular technology developed by Macromedia that creates visual action, animation or interactivity on a web site. While attractive, it can interfere with search engine positioning.
2. Load your copy with keywords delivered in a text format. “Keyword density” is important to get good visibility in search engines. Be sure your web designer displays the copy in text format rather than as a graphic, so search engines can read your web pages. Print pages from your web site to confirm that copy is not cut off on the right margin. If the page doesn’t print properly, ask your webmaster to change the settings.
3. Display your phone number prominently. The masthead is an ideal location to let visitors know how to reach you for a potential expert witness engagement.
4. Pick the right title tags. Words like “expert witness,” “litigation support” and your area of expertise belong in a page title tag to increase search engine visibility. Each page can have its own title. Metatags like keywords and description are less important to search engines now. Online photos and graphics should have an “Alt” tag that displays a textual description when you mouse-over your photo or other page graphic.
5. Think landing pages for online advertising. Pay-per-click text ads on Google and Yahoo! are an excellent way to generate inbound litigation support leads. Don’t just send all leads to your home page. Consider using a special “landing page” that gives a concise description of your expert witness services, maybe even with a link to your CV. Give each web page its own URL so you can direct prospects to a specific page on your web site.
In summary, the key to any successful expert witness marketing project is to start with a plan. Identify your business objectives and work from there to create a web site that generates high quality litigation support leads.

Bad Credit is EVIL
Bad credit is one of the worst financial situations to be in. A
bad credit can affect you in a lot of ways. With a bad credit
you can have difficulty getting a loan. Anything like poor
financial skills or bankruptcy can lead to bad credit. Your
credit rating can go down with a bad credit. This can be
hindrance in all the legalities. With a bad credit, you may get
a loan but it comes with a high rate of interest.
However, there are ways to improve your bad credit. Having a bad
credit is not the end of the world. There are still some options
that a person can think of. Before applying for a loan, you need
to repair your credit. There are various factors that can
encourage you to repair your credit.
- You faced some financial problems in the past that have landed
you in this situation - You had faced a bad credit history but
now you want to repair it - It may be that you had error in your
credit report card
A good credit is necessary to get any further credit. There are
certain facilities for people with bad credit but these
facilities have their darker side also (like a loan with a high
rate of interest). Once you realize that you have a bad credit,
you need to repair it as soon as possible. You will need a good
credit for all kinds of loan - home loan, car loan and personal
loan.
Bad Credit loans
Bad credit loans are tailor-made loans for people with bad
credit. When in bad credit, no bank or lender will give you a
loan as he will fear that you will not be able return the amount
of loan due to your bad credit history. However, some lenders do
provide bad credit loans too. But these loans have a higher rate
of interest than the loans that a person with a good credit
would take.
Fixing your bad credit
If you have a bad credit, it becomes imperative for you to
repair it immediately. You can improve this by paying off your
pending bills quickly. If you are buried under multiple debts,
you can take a debt consolidation loan that would help you pay
off small loans. Moreover, take your report from the credit
agencies and see the areas where you need to improve. If you can
afford a consultant who will give you a sound advice, that would
be a better option.
